Seroquel and Night Sweats

Due to a stressful life and unhealthy eating habits, people often suffer from psychotic problems. Psychotic conditions include hallucinations, delusions or confusion.  If a person experiences such conditions, it must be treated urgently. There are several effective medicines for the treatment of these conditions.  One such antipsychotic medication is Seroquel. However, Seroquel and night sweats go hand-in-hand, especially in case of an overdose. It acts as an antidepressant. Its major function is to alter the work of chemicals present in the brain. Before the intake of seroquel, it would be advisable to consult a known specialist. It would be beneficial to explain the symptoms. Inform your specialist, if you are suffering from any other disease or condition. For instance, you may be suffering from a liver ailment, heart problem, epilepsy, hypothyroidism etc. He will suggest appropriate doses of seroquel keeping in mind your requirement. Take an overdose of Seroquel and night sweats will keep you company.

A few precautions will be in place for people taking Seroquel.  For instance, avoid driving after you take Seroquel, as it may lead to drowsiness. Intake of alcohol must be stopped during Seroquel treatment, as alcohol also acts as a sedative. It can enhance the dizziness and drowsiness factors. If you experience breathing problems, lips swelling, choking etc, then you must consult your doctor. Other serious side effects caused by intake of seroquel are drowsiness, agitation, constipation and dry mouth. Seroquel and night sweats have a strong bond. So, limit the dosage to strictly as prescribed.

Overdose of any medication can have harmful results. Therefore, excessive amounts of seroquel intake are dangerous and must be avoided. Any symptom of overdose requires immediate medical attention. Symptoms of seroquel overdose include coma, fainting, high fever, low blood pressure and rigid muscles. Apart from these symptoms, if you experience any other symptom, then you must inform your specialist. If you take Seroquel and night sweats are a common occurrence, discuss it with your specialist, who may adjust the dosage.
